Summer at Wiremill
Summer theatre camp at Wiremill Academy is a great way to introduce your child to a new experience or to give them the space to practice and learn some new skills in a safe welcoming environment. Students meet new friends that share their passion for theatre which helps to develop their social skills through play and performance. At Wiremill Academy, we encourage children to throw caution to the wind and play! Our theatre camp day is a mix of learning how to improvise, how to breathe and produce sounds in a healthy way, learning how to warm up their bodies through movement, and how to develop a character and tell a story for family and friends on the last day! Finding Nemo, Kids!
(Grades K-3rd!)

Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a 30-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo KIDS brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical comes to life on your stage in Disney’s High School Musical JR.
It’s the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes all find their cliques. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. The couple cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical. Although many students resent the threat posed to the "status quo," Troy and Gabriella’s alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well.
The students of East High must deal with issues of love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extra curricular activities. The show’s infectious, danceable songs are sure to engage performers and audiences alike.

We love to end our summer offering with a Broadway Musical Revue! The classic “Musical Cabaret Revue” is a show that we create together with the students! We decide on a theme for the show, choose the music, and come up with an evening of song that allows everyone’s light to shine brightly! This summer we will choose from the Great American Broadway Songbook, featuring the many timeless hits from the Great White Way! We finish out the camp with a performance for family and friends on the final day! Hope you can join us for this one week camp - it is always a favorite of ours!
